Child Protection Policy

Mobile Creche Service

All children attending a Direct Childcare crèche have the right to be free from harm during that time, to be respected and listened to, to feel safe with their carers and amongst their peers.

All workers in the crèche have relevant experience and have been through the disclosure process with Central Registered Body Scotland.

Direct Childcare works within the Child Protection Guidelines of Highland Council and ensures that all workers receive on-going training in Child Protection.

Sitter Service

All Sitters have completed the Disclosure Scotland process and other vetting procedures.

Sitters all receive up to date training regarding child protection.

All child protection issues will be reported to the Development Manager or Social Services whichever is deemed appropriate in the circumstances.
