Family Workers

Working alongside the Families in Focus project in Wester Ross, workers will be helping to support families with children who are experiencing short term strain or difficulties. The worker liases closely with the Family Support Manager to ensure that the family recieves the support it needs for a period of upto 6 weeks. This could include helping with childcare in the home, taking the child/ren out to give the parent a break, help with routine childcare tasks within the home, or take the family out.

This can help parents who are perhaps recovering from illness, or strain within the family to "get back on their feet", and is also very rewarding for the worker.
