What is direct childcare? We don't see ourselves as a babysitting service. Instead, we provide resources for learning and play, of the type you would expect at any good day-care nursery or playgroup. The crèche provides a range of toys and games and there are planned activities for all age groups from 0 - 16 years. Additional needs can also be met.The service only employs Early Years Workers who have been suitably trained and who have undergone the relevant health, safety and disclosure checks. All staff are sourced from the staff bank at the Care And Learning Alliance(CALA) and we carry out risk assessments on all venues. Direct Childcare is registered with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and meets all operational requirements. We hold registration certificates for both Daycare of Children (Creche Service) and a Childcare Agency (Sitter Service). |
